41 Configuring STM
Switch Table Management (STM) is used to configure system resources in the switch to
optimize support for specific features, depending on how the switch is used in the network.
You can select a template to provide maximum system usage for some functions; for example,
use the default template to balance resources. In this release, we only support default template.

41.1.2 Terminology
STM Configuration
You must reload the switch for the configuration to take effect.
DUT# configure terminal
Enter the Configure mode.
DUT(config)# stm prefer default
Specify default template used in the switch.
After the system reboots, you can use the command “show stm prefer” in privileged EXEC mode
to verify the new template configuration.

This is an example of an output display for default template.
