DUT(config-router)# network 10.10.10.0/24 area 0
Define the interface (10.10.10.0/24) on which OSPF
runs and associate the area ID (0) with the interface
(area ID 0 specifies the backbone area).
DUT(config-router)# area 0 authentication
(Optional) Allow password-based protection against
unauthorized access to the identified area. The identifier
can be either a decimal value or an IP address.
DUT(config-router)# area 0 authentication
message-digest
(Optional) Enable MD5 authentication on the area.
DUT(config-router)# area 0 range 10.10.10.0/24
(Optional) Specify an address range for which a single
route is advertised. Use this command only with area
border routers.
DUT(config-router)# end
Return to Exec mode.
DUT(config-router)# show ip ospf 100
DUT(config-router)# show ip ospf 100 database
Display information about the OSPF routing process in
general or for a specific process ID to verify
configuration.
Display lists of information related to the OSPF database
for a specific router.

Enter the Configure mode
DUT (config)# router ospf 200
Configure the Routing process and specify the Process ID
(200). The Process ID should be a unique positive integer
identifying the routing process.
DUT (config-router)# network 10.10.10.0/24 area 0
Define the interface (10.10.10.0/24) on which OSPF runs
and associate the area ID (0) with the interface.
DUT (config-router)# network 10.10.11.0/24 area 1
Define the interface (10.10.11.0/24) on which OSPF
runsand associate the area ID (1) with the interface.
DUT(config-router)# area 1 stub no-summary
(Optional) Define an area as a stub area. The no-summary
keyword prevents an ABR from sending summary link
advertisements into the stub area.
Validation Commands
show ip ospf, show ip ospf interface
