parameter doesn't need to be filled.

Mostly it doesn't need to be used.
Security model – Within this parameter you can choose concrete security model (SNMP v1, SNMP
v2c, USM = v3) or option Every. In the case of using concrete method, it has to be used by
opponent, otherwise communication fails.

Filters
Derive – With this option you are able to create filter with same settings as has selected one.
OID root – Parameter sets root of OID tree, which is used as base for filter setting. OID structure
you can view as tree or as alphabetical list.
Exception – Parameter can change meaning of concrete rule. If this option isn't checked, defined
OID subtree is used. If this option is checked, using of subtree from this row is denied. Thanks to this
parameter you can create filter where is specified, that you use whole section 2.1 except its specific
section 2.1.3.
OID subtree – Within root you are able to choose specific sections, which can be used. Empty row is
used to enable whole above specified OID root. Each filter has to have minimally one rule. If you
don't need to use any specific rule within OID root, please use empty row. This is done, because filter
doesn't compare rules with OID root, but only with subtrees. If some defined rules are subsets of
another, than is always used the most common rule (the shortest one).
