tabs are used only at few virtual port types, because on others they haven't any sense.
Basic
The tab Basic brings following parameters:
Name according to the physic port – With this option you can change name of the virtual port
according to the physic port where it is assigned. This name consists of stack name and of hardware
address in the square brackets. In the case of manual change of this name is option automatically
unchecked.
Type – With this parameter you can assign virtual port to the specific virtual port type.
Enable call without station – With this parameter you can enable or disable incoming calls without
calling party number (CLI) . As default is this parameter enabled. For example it can be used in
situation, when you have connected terminal to certain physic port and currently you haven't
assigned any station to corresponding virtual port. If this parameter is enabled, you can establish call
from such terminal, if it is disabled, call is rejected.
Internal numbering plan – This parameter sets subtype of the calling party number (CLI) to
"Internal". Value "Yes" is usually used by inner ports and value "No" by outer ports. If it is set to
"YES", no normalization of calling party number is done.
Call on port is accounted – Parameter sets the indicator (a - accounted) into the accounting
sentence. It means, that outgoing calls through this port have to be charged. Thanks to the indicator
are corresponding accounting sentences easily seek able.
CLI section
Identification tab – With this parameter you are able to assign identification table to specific virtual
port. You can choose from tables created in the menu
Routing - Identification tabs
. Chosen
identification tab is used for calling party number (CLI) changing. It relates for outgoing calls through
corresponding virtual port.
Added prefix for external CLI – With this option you can assign selected prefix to the virtual port.
Prefixes are defined within the menu
Global data - Global parameters
. This prefix is then added to
the calling party identification for all external subtypes, but it doesn't influence number assignment to
the name from phone book. Added prefix can be used for easier call routing on virtual ports which
don't support number subtype (analog, SIP).
Number subtype section
Parameter defines final subtype of the incoming and outgoing numbers at this virtual port. It covers
calling party number (CLI) and called party number (CPN) also. If it is set to "No", final subtype of
the number is "Unknown". If it is set to "Yes", finale subtype of the number corresponds with
incoming subtype, except incoming subtype "Unknown", which is changed by rules set in the part
localization. Generally is this parameter on the virtual port type Default IN set to "Yes" and on the
virtual port type Default OUT to "No".
You can set following:
Incoming CLIP – Parameter sets whether incoming subtype of calling party number will be retained
or not.
Incoming CPN – Parameter sets whether incoming subtype of called party number will be retained
or not.
Outgoing CLIP – Parameter sets whether outgoing subtype of calling party number will be retained
or not.
Outgoing CPN – Parameter sets whether outgoing subtype of called party number will be retained or
