4.1 SIM cards
In the menu
Carriers – GSM – SIM
you can find list of all SIM cards of the PbX. After first inserting
of the SIM card into the port is automatically created new record in the database and parameters
which you fill (e.g. PIN), are used automatically by future detection of this SIM card. This menu
includes following parameters:
SimNum – This parameter shows detected identification number of the SIM card. This number is in
NsAdmin automatically used for SIM cards identification in the list on the left side of the menu.
Phone Number – This field has only informative character. You can fill the phone number of this SIM
card for easier orientation. This parameter has no function.
PIN – Personal Identification Number – In this field you have to insert PIN of this SIM card if
requested. This number is shared by the user and authentication system. If the SIM card PIN
requests and it is not filled or it is filled wrong, SIM card can't be logged into the network.
PUK – Personal Unblocking Key – In this field you can fill in PUK if you want or need. It is number,
which is used for unblocking the SIM card in the case, that it is blocked due to usage of wrong PIN
code.
SMS centre – This parameter you have to fill if you want to send SMS messages. In GMS network
isn't SMS routed directly to the final destination, but through SMS centre of the specific operator. It is
useful in the cases, when SMS messages can't be delivered immediately (e.g. target phone is
unavailable). SMS centre tries to deliver this message cyclical for preset time of validity. This
parameter is mostly automatically detected on the SIM card (preset from operator). Otherwise you
have to fill it manually.
Name – This field has only informative character. It can be used for separation of more SIM cards.
Port – This field has only informative character. It shows physic port, where is specific SIM card
detected at the moment.
