Caution: Do not turn the lightbar off while the firmware is being updated. This could render the lightbar
inoperable.
Select the EZ−Guide firmware .img file and then press . The wizard installs the firmware version
1.01.

When the firmware is installed, the lightbar restarts. The lightbar detects the USB drive and the upgrade
wizard runs again. The upgrade wizard now gives you three upgrade options:

Select the EZ−Guide 500 firmware version 3.00 file and then press . The firmware upgrade process
runs twice − once to install the firmware and once to install the monitor file. When the firmware is
installed, the lightbar restarts.

The lightbar firmware is upgraded to version 3.00.
Upgrading the EZ−Boom controller firmware
If you have an EZ−Boom 2010 system with firmware prior to version 1.1, upgrade the EZ−Boom controller
firmware:
Note: You must upgrade the EZ−Guide 500 ligthbar firmware to at least version 2.00 before you can upgrade the
EZ−Boom controller firmware. See
