on the EZ−Office Software CD or from www.EZ−OfficeSoftware.com.

Upgrading the lightbar firmware
Before you begin to update the firmware in the lightbar, check which firmware version is currently installed:
Select Configuration / About the EZ−Guide.

Check the Version number:

This is the firmware version. If the number is 1.00.xxx.x, you have firmware version 1.00. If the number
is 1.01.xxx.x, you have firmware version 1.01.
You cannot upgrade the lightbar directly from firmware version 1.00 to firmware version 2.00 (or above): You
must first upgrade the lightbar to the firmware version 1.01. If you try to upgrade directly from version 1.00 to
version 2.00 (or above), the lightbar will not recognize the new firmware file.
To upgrade the lightbar from firmware version 1.00 to version 1.01 (if necessary):
Download the self−extracting firmware version 3.00 upgrade file from www.EZ−Guide.com to your
office computer. It contains the firmware upgrades for version 1.01 and 3.00.

Run the file and extract the contents to a temporary directory.
2.
Copy the files from the temporary directory to the USB drive.
3.
Insert the USB drive in the lightbar.
4.
Turn on the lightbar.
5.
When the USB drive is detected, the lightbar runs the upgrade wizard.
If you currently have firmware version 1.00, the firmware version 1.01 upgrade files appear:
