Table 3-2 lists the primary control button functions. Button function changes
depending on the menu level. Buttons either control navigating through the
menus or incrementing/decrementing numeric values.

Item Number Control Button Description
2 scrolls down the command list, or if
the user is changing a numeric display, it
decrements the displayed value.
3 scrolls up the command list, or if the
user is changing a numeric display, pressing
this button increments the numeric value.
4 tabs through multiple options.
When displaying a menu item, pressing the
button reverses through previous
commands and, if pressed repeatedly, turns
off the front panel display.
5 accepts the input and executes the
selected function. To abort an entry, pressing
navigates to the previous item.
When entering a number, the and buttons start in the slow
mode and change to, if either button is held down, the fast mode. Most
numbers go to a maximum of 255; for a large number, it may be faster to use
the button.
