Wireless Configuration Commands
Use this command to configure access port detection.
Syntax
ap-detection [approvedadd|detected-wired-rogue|enable|mu-assisted-scan|timeout

approvedadd
The approved access port list.Adds an entry in the authorized or ignored AP list.
•
add <1-200> – Adds an entry to the approved access port list.Specifies the
index where the entry is added.
•
authorized –This entry is authorized.
•
ignored – This entry is ignored.
•
MAC– MAC address in AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF format.
•
any– Any MAC address.
•
LINE–A string of up to 32 characters.
•
any– Any SSID.
detect-wired-rogue (enable)
Detects the rogue APs which are also found on the wired network.
enable
Allows access ports to look for access points.
mu-assisted-scan
Mobile unit assisted scanning.
•
enable – Enables mobile unit assisted scanning.
•
refresh<30-86400> – The period (in seconds) used by all scan-capable mobile
units are polled to scan for neighboring access port’s.
timeout
<1-65535>
The interval (in seconds) an access port remains in the list after it is no longer seen.
Select one of the following options for timeout implementation.
•
approvedauthorized <1-65535> – Configures the timeouts in the authorized
APs.
•
unapprovedunauthorized<1-65535> – Configures the timeouts in the
unauthorized APs.
•
ignored <1-65535> – Configures the timeouts in the ignored APs
