In Figure 2.82 , the port detects HARD_RESET, which starts the Timer. When the timer
expires, it jumps to another state. If a trigger occurs between timer start and end, the
captured trace will have corrupt frames because of hardware queue overflow.

To overcome this limitation, use a Timeout Pattern instead of Timer. Figure 2.83 shows
the state machine using Timeout instead of Timer.
