From Which Feed?

The operator selects the feed from the drop-down box of
available feeds. The drop-down box displays all trains available
on the XNet network. If the corresponding recorder has a defined
name, this name is displayed in the list otherwise its EVS
technical name is displayed (i.e. : 29_XT1_REC1).

IN Zone

In this zone the IN point of the inserted train can be defined.
This can be by calculation based on:

• a delay value entered
• a timecode value entered

Delay

This defines the delay which is applied to the selected element

when the element is on air within the play-list. If the delay value
exceeds the train remaining capacity, a warning message will be
displayed. The value entered by the operator is still accepted, as
the capacity could be made available before the element is on
air, by removing some clips stored on the selected server.

Note
The T/C In of the play-list element can only be
calculated if the on-air time of the selected element is
known.

T/C IN

When the window opens, the T/C IN field is filled with the on-air
T/C of the preview panel (if it has a value) or with the T/C of the

channel associated to the on-air panel if there is no value in the
preview pane. If there is no value in either of the previous cases
then a ‘00:00:00:00’ will be displayed.

To define a T/C, click in the T/C IN field and type in a value.

To grab a value use the transport controls on the preview or on-

air channel to move to a different value and then grab the
required value in the T/C IN field by clicking the Grab button.
