6. Play-List Editor
6.1 INTRODUCTION
The Play-List Editor allows multiple play-lists to be made,
modified and played to air using an efficient workflow with a
great deal of flexibility.
The workflow combines three work zones within the application
that are needed to perform the tasks required:
1. a Mini Database Explorer
2. a Play-List interface, including the On-Air Area and Edit
Area, to manage several play-lists using different tabs
3. a Preview Control Panel used to control a preview channel
The user can search for clips from the explorer zone located on
the left, and then load the clip onto the preview channel located
on the lower right, or directly insert the clip into a play-list in the
Play-List zone. The clip can be loaded or inserted by using drag
& drop or simple mouse click operations.
