from the main menu section

of the IP Director interface, a Control Panel window will open but

in an inactive state as an XT channel has yet to be assigned. A
recorder channel can be “dragged” from the channel explorer
onto the open panel to assign it.

An active Recorder panel will show the location and name of the
channel and a timecode window with a display of running
timecode that the channel is recording.

Above is the view of the Recorder Panel when viewing a LSM
mode recorder. It cannot be stopped by an IP Director
workstation.

Above is the view of the Recorder Panel when viewing a Server
or Spotbox mode recorder. It can be started/stopped by an IP
Director workstation

The timecode information displayed in green in the panel is the

incoming timecode of the server (should be the studio time).
The capacity information displayed is the remaining capacity on
this specific recorder channel on the XT server.
