6.5 THE AREAS OF A PLAY-LIST TAB
Within a Play-List tab there are two distinct areas
The On-air area is used to play a play-list and has buttons to
control all the required transport controls. It displays information
for the current position of the list with reference to the next
element, next break, time till the end of the list, as well as times
with reference to the current time of day to help determine
critical transmission deadlines.
The Edit area is used to edit a play-list and displays all of its
elements and information corresponding to them.
6.6 THE ON-AIR AREA
This area shows a small portion of the play-list which is currently
loaded to an XT channel and either on-air or ready to play on-
air. It has transport controls, information and status displays
relating the current play-list. This number of elements shown in
the list area is defined by the amount of window area allocated
to the on-air part of the tab, but will always show at least 2
elements.
Clips cannot be added or modified using this area of the
display. Changes and modifications to the play-list can be made
