GSHDSL Modem
(GSH-R)
The GSH Module (G.SHDSL Line Card) is installed in MSAP2000
RT, and connected to the Client end facility (G.SHDSL modem)
via 2-wire copper lines. The GSH Module provides three types of
Digital Leased Line Interfaces:
(1) ITU-T G.703 E1 Interface
(2) ITU-T V.35 Interface
(3) 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet Interface
E1 Interface
Complies with ITU-T G.703/G.704/G.706.
Please refer to Chapter 11 of this Manual for information on
technological details and interface parameters.
V.35 Interface
Supports N 64 Kbit/s subscriber data frequency. N=1~31.
Ethernet Interface
Provides 10Base-T and 100Base-TX Auto-Negotiation
Interfaces.
Complies with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and IEEE 802.3u Fast
Ethernet standard regulations, and supports Full Duplex and
Half Duplex transmission. With Cat-5 UTP 10 copper cables,
its transmission distance can reach up to 100 meters.
Provides Rate Limiting functions for receiving and transmitting
data. The frequency range can be set to anywhere from 192
Kbit/s to 2048 Kbit/s (adjusted at 64 Kbit/s per step). The
final error rate is less than 10%.

ADSL Modem
The AAM (ADSL Access Modem) Module is installed in the
MSAP2000 RT. It provides a subscriber bandwidth access
interface by connecting to the subscriber’s ATU-R (ADSL modem)
via 2-wire copper lines.
