7.28. COT Ethernet over SDH Module (CEoSM)
Overview
The CEoSM (COT Ethernet over SDH Module) provides SDH
transmitted Ethernet services for COT and RT ends. Because CEoSM
complies with ITU-T G.7041 standards, its Ethernet connection service
can equal the connection quality provided by leased lines. CEoSM
shall be used also when ETH Module’s limited bandwidth is reached.
The CEoSM needs to be installed at both the COT and its corresponding
RT, to be able to provide service. CEoSM can also use with REoSM to
provide more Ethernet
