Loopback Testing
All RT Modules support Channel Loopback functions. Operators may
activate or deactivate Channel Loopback, via the OptiCore
™ or LCT
Interface. Loopback Testing proceeds by two directions: Facility
(external) Loopback, and Terminal (internal) Loopback. The
following diagram shows Loopback Testing directions:
Protection Switch
Operators can enforce the OIM Module to activate manual switching
and Ring-type protection switching for optical fibers, via OptiCore
™
NMS and LCT Interface.
Pattern Test
MSAP2000 supports Test Patterns such as Fix pattern (Byte-base),

11 -1, and 2 15 -1, to provide Module Testing for digital leased lines.
