RT Ethernet over SDH Module (REoSM)
Overview
The REoSM (RT Ethernet over SDH Module) provides SDH transmitted
Ethernet services for COT and RT ends. Because REoSM complies
with ITU-T G.7041 standards, its Ethernet connection service can equal
the connection quality provided by leased lines. REoSM can also
make up for the ETH Module’s limited bandwidth.
The REoSM needs to be installed at both the COT and its corresponding
RT, to be able to provide service.

Application
When use OIM/SM1/SM4 as the trunk interface, the data format is based
on TDM, so REoSM, associated with CEoSM is to provide the packet to
TDM translation, so the broadband service can be transported between
COT and RT.
