Quad E1 Module (QE1M)
Overview
Within MSAP2000, the QuadE1 Module (QE1M) can serve as either
a tributary module, or a trunk module. The module function can be
setup by the User, via the User interface.
When QE1M is used as a tributary module, the Frame and
Frequency width can be setup according to individual requirements.
When QE1M is used as a trunk module, the Frame and Frequency
width are fixed, and the Sa Bits within the Frame are used to
transmit data between MSAP2000 nodes.

Application
QE1M can be configured as the tributary interface or trunk
interfaces. For tributary interface application it can be data interface
or V5 switch interface. For trunk application, QE1M can connect to
external transport system like SDH ADM.
