Installation
Requirements
The OptiCore Network Management System needs to be installed
upon a platform, such as a PC or workstation. Its OS supports
Windows, Unix, Linux, or Solaris. Hardware requirements and
storage capacity depend on the quantity of nodes supported by
the System, as well as specific User requirements.
Installation requirements will also depend on whether the NMS
uses a single server management mode, or a multiple server
management mode, as well as the overall performance of the
Application Server type and Database Server type that is selected
to work with OptiCore NMS. For example, if using a single server
management mode, the following requirements are necessary:
