7.33. G.SHDSL Remote CPE (GSH-R)
Overview
The G.SHDSL Remote CPE (GSH-R) serves as a standard-type
modem which complies to ITU-T G.991.2; it will provide E1, V.35 or
Ethernet services, when used together with MSAP2000’s GSH
Subscriber Module. GSH-R uses the EOC to provide a RS-232
access interface, to function as a management interface (CIT
interface), for function control and setup.
GSH-R supports the ITU-T G.991.2 Activation/Pre-activation
Sequence. In the Start-up Testing, at least 6 out of 10 start-up
sequences should have a sequence time of less than 60 seconds.
GSH-R has been tested and certified by Chunghwa Telecom, and
complies with CHT’s MD6230-1 standards.
