You can use the camera to zoom when an EF Cinema lens compatible with zoom operation ( A 234) or an EF
lens integrated with a PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adapter is attached to the camera.
You can also zoom remotely using Browser Remote on a connected network device (
A
181).
Zoom Mode s of the Len s
Use the switch on the lens to select the lens’s zoom mode (automatic, manual). The name of the controls may
differ depending on the lens. Refer to the instruction manual of the lens/accessory used.

• Operating the zoom from the camera is enabled.

1 Enable automatic zoom mode on the len s .
2 S elect > [

3 S elect > [ v Camera S etup] > [Camera Grip Zoom S peed] > De s ired zoom s peed.
• Zoom speeds are constant; [1] being the slowest and [16] the fastest.
4 U s e the joy s tic k on the camera grip to zoom.
• Push the joystick up to zoom in (telephoto) and push it down to zoom out (wide-angle).

• When using slow zoom speeds, it may take longer for the lens to start moving.
