A ss ignable Button s
The camera offers a number of assignable buttons to which you can assign various function. Assign often-used
functions to the buttons you find most convenient to personalize the camera to your needs and preferences.
You can find 13 assignable buttons on the camera’s body. In most cases, the names of the buttons printed on
the camera and accessories also indicate their default settings.
Changing the A ss igned Function
Functions can be set separately in CAMERA mode and MEDIA mode.
1 Pre ss the MENU button and, while holding it pre ss ed down, pre ss the a ss ignable button who s e
function you wi s h to change.
• A list of available functions appears.
• You can also select the appropriate menu setting from the various pages of the > [ Assignable
Buttons] menu.
2 S elect the de s ired function.
• The selected function will be assigned to the selected button.
3 If you s elected [U s er S etting], s elect the menu s etting you want to regi s ter.
• The selected menu setting will be assigned to the selected button. User-selected settings will be indicated
with a icon in the [ Assignable Buttons] menu.
