etting the File Name for Recording

To set the reel number or initial clip number

MP4 Clip and Photo Numbering

MP4 clips and photos are automatically assigned consecutive numbers and stored on the SD card in folders.
You can select the numbering method to be used.

• For sub recording clips, the folder name and consecutive number (“nnnn”) will be the same in both cards.

• For double slot recording clips, the folder name and file name will be the same in both cards.

• The WAV files recorded during slow & fast motion recording will have the same file name as that of the primary

clip with the addition of "_yyyymmddHHMMSS" (year, month, day, hour, minute, second), and will be stored in
the “/PRIVATE/AUDIO/” folder of the card.

• The WAV files recorded when using the second card recording functions will have the same file name as that of

the primary clip with the addition of "_yyyymmddHHMMSS" (year, month, day, hour, minute, second), and will
be stored in the “/PRIVATE/AUDIO/” folder of the card.

• The "MVIP" part of metadata/News Metadata (XML) file names may also be "MVIS" or "MVIC".

: “xxx” indicates the folder number (from 100 to 999), and “nnnn” indicates the consecutive

number assigned to the MP4 clip/photo (from 0001 to 9999).

: Folder name. “mmdd” indicates the month and day of recording.

: Primary clip (MP4) file name.

: Sub recording clip (MP4) file name.

: Metadata/News Metadata (XML) file name.

: Photo file name.

: Proxy clip (MP4) file name.

: Continuous recording clip (card 2) file name.
