Creating a new part program

You always enter a part program in the Programming and Editing
mode of operation.

Program initiation in an example:

Select the Programming and Editing mode of
operation.

To call the file manager, press the PGM MGT
soft key.

Entering new program names

Select the file type, e.g. HEIDENHAIN
conversational: Press the .H soft key.

If necessary, switch to inches as unit of
measure: Press the MM/INCH soft key.

Confirm your entry with the ENT key.
