14.8 Select the Programming Language

The PROGRAM INPUT MOD function lets you decide whether to
program the MDI file in HEIDENHAIN conversational dialog or in
ISO format.

■

For conversational programming, set to HEIDENHAIN

■

For ISO programming, set to ISO

This MOD function also determines the programming language
when you open a new program.

If you wish to switch between conversational and ISO
input (and back again), you need to delete the last active
$MDI file in the Programming mode.
