Creating and editing playlists in Xplay
Creating a new playlist
To create a new playlist, you must first open a new, empty playlist. If the Playlist Editor area
is already occupied by another playlist, performing the C
REATE N EW P LAYLIST action
(described below) immediately clears the Playlist Editor and a blank playlist appears, ready
for use (see figure
3-4 ).

The Playlist Editor’s layout depends upon Xplay’s P LAYLIST V IEW setting, which can be set
to N ONE , S TANDARD , or B Y D EVICE . If the Playlist Editor does not appear or it opens in an
unwanted layout, see page 3-25 for information regarding changing the Playlist View
setting.
To create a new playlist:
• Select F ILE >N EW P LAYLIST .
Or,
• Press the C
REATE N EW P LAYLIST button in the Playlist toolbar.
Or,
• Press the C
TRL +N keyboard shortcut
