Appendix D - Configuring GPI inputs
Specifying the Video Bypass settings for the GPI inputs
The Vertigo XG devices are equipped with a hardware video bypass mechanism which can
route the input video content directly through to the output channels. The GPI Server
Control Panel offers you the ability to configure GPI inputs to control the state of the
device’s video bypass for specific output channels.

To configure the Video Bypass option for the GPI inputs:
1.
Open the GPI Server Control Panel and select the T OOLS >O PTIONS menu command.
Expand the GPI S ERVER heading and select V IDEO B YPASS (figure 9-4 ).

2. Click the N EW button to add a new Video Bypass definition (figure 9-5 )
