Appendix B - Creating and editing pages in Xplay

Xmedia Server using the template’s name appended with a timestamp, and
then the page is added to the playlist.

When Xplay’s Playlist Editor is in the ByDevice playlist view, the new shared page is
immediately appended or inserted into the device’s playlist as assigned by the template’s

property, which is set in Xstudio when the template is created. If the
template’s T

property was not specified (empty), then the page is appended
or inserted into the first device’s playlist.

Optional: Create additional new shared pages either based on the same or a different
template that is stored on the Xmedia Server. Repeat this step as for as many new
shared pages that you want to create.
• To create a new shared page based on the same template as before, edit the
page’s editable fields and then click the N

• To create a new shared page based on a different template that is stored on the

select a template upon which to based the new page. Edit the template’s
variable fields and save the page according to the instructions in step 5.
Once you are finished creating and/or adding new shared pages to the playlist, return
to your Xplay session by simply closing the page’s and the S

dialog boxes.
