AFD settings

Enable XG Output AFD monitoring: When enabled, Xplay is able to monitor the
output AFD of the XG and raise the following event to the panel loaded in Xplay:
NotifyOutputAFDCode(devName, previousAFDCode, NewAFDCode)

Enable XG Input AFD monitoring: When enabled, Xplay can receive an AFD value
notification from the XG input selected in the XG Input AFD Source Type setting.
Xplay can then use this information to control on-air graphics for logo positioning, DVE
squeezes... etc.
•
XG Input AFD Source Type: Allows you to select which one of the three XG inputs
Xplay will use as a source for receiving the AFD value.
Choose from the drop-down list: Video A, Video B, or Clip.
• For Video A and Video B sources, you must configure the XG device to
generate the AFD code by enabling the G

• If Clip is chosen, you must also specify the clip object’s name in the setting below.

XG Input AFD Source ClipObject Name: When Clip is selected in the “XG Input AFD
Source Type” setting, this setting specifies the clip object’s name from the template
where Xplay will read the AFD value.
