Appendix D - Configuring GPI inputs
GPI input actions
The following table provides brief descriptions of each action that can be assigned to a GPI
input state’s rule (see
“Adding a rule to a GPI input state” on page 9-6 ):
Clear Playlist Removes the current playlist from Xplay’s Playlist Editor.
Cue Down Removes the currently cued playlist item from the playout device
specified in this action’s D
EVICE parameter.
Cue Page Cues the page specified in the action’s P AGE N AME parameter on the
playout device that is specified in the action’s D EVICE parameter.
Cue Recall ID Cues the page specified in the action’s P AGE N AME parameter (enter the
page’s Recall ID # in this parameter) on the playout device that is
specified in the action’s D
EVICE parameter.
Cue Selected Cues the playlist item that is currently selected in the open playlist on
the playout device that is specified in the action’s D
EVICE parameter.
Cue Up Cues the next item in the playlist on the playout device that is specified
in the action’s D
EVICE parameter.
End Moves the playlist selection to the last item in the open playlist.
Event Executes the events or script that is specified in the action’s N AME
parameter.
Home Moves the playlist selection to the first item in the open playlist.
Load Playlist Loads the playlist that is specified thee action’s P LAYLIST parameter into
Xplay’s Playlist Editor.
Move Down Moves the playlist selection to the next item in the open playlist.
Move Up Moves the playlist selection to the previous item in the open playlist.
Page Down Moves the playlist selection down in increments, usually to the last item
on the displayed in Xplay’s Playlist Editor.
Page Up Moves the playlist selection up in increments, usually to the top item on
the displayed in Xplay’s Playlist Editor.
Take Takes the currently cued playlist item to air on the playout device’s
channel that is specified in the action’s D
EVICE and C HANNEL
parameters.
