Xplay’s menu commands
Many of Xplay’s key features and commands are thematically organized within the menu
bar command structure at the top of the main interface window.
The following sections provide functional definitions of the Xplay menu commands:

File menu
The F ILE menu contains commands that are related to opening, inserting, creating and
saving playlists and pages.
Each of the F ILE menu commands is described in the following table:
N EW P LAYLIST Opens a new, empty playlist in the Xplay Playlist Editor.

Keyboard shortcut: C TRL +N
• C REATE N EW P LAYLIST button in the Playlist window toolbar.
O PEN P LAYLIST Opens the O PEN P LAYLIST dialog box, which lets you select an existing
playlist to open.
Alternative access:

• O PEN E XISTING P LAYLIST button in the Playlist window toolbar.
A PPEND P LAYLIST Opens the A PPEND P LAYLIST dialog box, which lets you select a playlist to
add to the end of the currently opened playlist.

I NSERT P LAYLIST Opens the I NSERT P LAYLIST dialog box, which lets you select a playlist to
insert above the currently selected row in the currently opened playlist.
