your sites use common screen formats. You could create System Profiles and distribute
them to the desired network sites. Use the following steps to distribute the WIN data object:

1.

Use Work Station Control Mode to create the desired windowing profiles for your
port.

2.

Use the Windowing Setup Utility in Central Control Mode to copy the desired user
profiles to system profiles.

3.

Build a NetView DM transmission plan to distribute the WIN data object to the desired
Network Sites.

Canonical Name Summary Table

The following table shows the canonical names supported by LINCS. The tokens in uppercase
must appear as shown. Lowercase tokens may vary.

NetView DM and CSCM allow the usage of partial canonical names. This means that certain
tokens may be replaced by an asterisk and further qualified in the MATCHIND (matching
indicators) parameter when defining NetView DM functions. Tokens which may be defined
by MATCHIND are shown in brackets.

The “NetView DM Overview” section describes the NetView DM functions for which partial
naming is valid.
