Services (Configuration)
Framing indicates and allows to change the selected framing. The
framing is displayed as follow: Data Link/Network/Transport. Refer to
Framing Configuration on page 450 for more information.
Frame Size indicates and allows to change the selected frame size.
Refer to Frame Size Configuration on page 451 for more information.
Frame Format indicates and allows to change the selected frame
format. Frame format is available when the Data Link is set to
802.3 SNAP or when Data Link is set to Ethernet II while Network is
set to None. Refer to Frame Format Configuration on page 453 for
more information.
Direction
Direction is available with dual test set and allows to select the frame
parameters for the local module when Local to remote is selected, and for
the remote module when Remote to local is selected.
The following parameters are coupled for both directions: CIR, CIR+EIR,
CBS, EBS, and Traffic Policing check boxes. However, their values are not
coupled.
Frame Parameters
IP indicates and allows to change the selected frame source and
destination IP address. Refer to IPv4 Configuration on page 441 and
IPv6 Address Configuration on page 443 for more information.
MAC indicates and allows to change the selected frame destination
MAC address. Refer to MAC Configuration on page 454 for more
information.
VLAN indicates and allows to change the selected VLAN level(s). Refer
to VLAN Configuration on page 438 for more information.
