Appendix C Troubleshooting Guide

If a condition occurs that could be due to equipment failure or malfunction, follow
the inspection procedures given below.
If the LS-5000 series does not operate normally after this inspection, contact the
nearest KEYENCE dealer or sales office.

emitting/receiving window.

• Short-circuit LASER REMOTE

terminals.

• Wait for approx. 10 seconds

after turning power ON.

• Wait for approx. 3 seconds

after changing the measure-
ment mode.

• Depending on No. of averaging

measurements, approx. 2.6 or
less seconds is required to
display measured value after
target is placed in measuring
area.

• Change measurement environ-

ment.
