1 7-level comparator output (terminals 1 to 14)
The LS-5000 series performs comparator output (

number specified during the I/O slot setup (

Note: When Pitch mode is selected, the comparator output is as follows:
HI3: Turns ON when the target’s actual number of pitches is different from the
preset number of pitches.
HI2: Unused
HI1: Turns ON when the measured value exceeds the preset upper/lower limits.
GO: Turns ON when the measured value is within the tolerance range.
LO1: Unused
LO2: Unused
LO3: Unused

2 Self-timing output (terminals 15 and 16)
In self-timing mode, the output specified during the I/O slot setup procedure turns
ON when the self-timing signal turns ON. The self-timing output is a one-shot
signal, as shown below:

3 Timing input (terminals 19 and 20)
When this terminal and the GND terminal are short-circuited, the LS-5000 series
performs the measuring mode operation for the output number specified during the
I/O slot setup procedure.

4 Reset input (terminals 21 and 22)
When this terminal and the GND terminal are short-circuited, the LS-5000 series
performs the measuring mode operation for the output number specified during the
I/O slot setup procedure.

5 Auto-zero input (terminals 23 and 22)
When this terminal and the GND terminal are short-circuited, the LS-5000 series
instantaneously resets the measured value to “0.00000” for the output number
specified during the I/O slot setup procedure.

6 Analog output
The LS-5000 series performs analog output in the range of ±10 V for the output
number specified during the I/O slot setup procedure.
