Communication Performance and Communication Mode in the Measurement State
Complete the series of input or output of commands before moving to the tolerance or
function settings from the measurement state.
Overview of the Settings According to External Devices
Perform "Auto transmission settings" according to the external device to be connected as
shown in the following table.
* "Outputting Measurement Values and Changing Settings through Commands" is also valid when
Auto transmission is ON.

Refer to "Setting the Communication Specifications of the RS-232C" (page 3-49) for
setting the communication specifications.
Normal
mode
During
measurement:
Receives the measurement control command.
Commands such as for writing or reading the setting values are
not accepted.
During tolerance/
function setting
Communication is not accepted.
The measurement stops.
Communicati
on mode
• [Upon receiving the command [Q], [0] or [CR], the mode
changes to the communication mode, and the setting values
are written or read.
• The measurement stops during the communication mode.
