10.1 FIRST STAGE (DISCONNECTION OF
MAIN TRANSMISSION COVER)
1. Disengage main transmission cover (1) attaching
bolt (2) and disconnect transmission cover.
(When reassembling)
•
Engage transmission rod (3) with transmission arm
(4) locking bolt (5) and perform locking both ends of
jawed washer firmly to prevent loosening.
•
Wipe out foreign matters or oil from the contacted
surface of clutch housing and main transmission
cover and apply a sealing agent.
With main transmission fork set to Neutral, set trans-
mission arm (4) at the groove of main transmission
fork.

Three bond 1208D or equivalent
(1) Main Transmission Cover
(2) Bolt
(3) Transmission Rod
(4) Transmission Arm
(5) Locking Bolt
(6) Jawed Washer
