12.2.2 Updating via a Point-to-Point Connection with DHCP Service
Function ‘Auto-IP’ is used.
Prerequisites:
- Device and notebook/PC are connected to each other.
- The automatic address assignment ‘DHCP’ is activated in the device and in the
notebook/PC, see Chapter 18.2/18.3.
- The ‘FlashIt!32’ program (in a directory on the enclosed CD-ROM) is installed on the
notebook/PC.
- The ‘FlashIt!32’ program is started.
Operations on the Instrument

Working on the instrument while it is switched on may have life-threatening
consequences.
The operation may be performed only by trained and qualified persons who are familiar
with the implied hazards and avoid them, or take adequate measure to protect
themselves.
