To test the mask using a Viewer lookup table:
1 Click and hold the VLUT (Viewer Lookup Table) button in the Viewer shelf, then choose
VLUT2 from the pop-up menu.
If you right-click the VLUT2 button, you’ll see that the Gamma/Offset/LogLin VLUT is
now active.
Note: There are only two Viewer lookup tables installed by default—Gamma/Offset/
LogLin and Truelight—but you can add your own. For more information, see “Viewer
Lookups, Viewer Scripts, and the Viewer DOD” in Chapter 1 of the Shake 4 User Manual.
You won’t see a difference in the Viewer yet, because none of the three conversions—
gamma, offset, or LogLin—is active when you first choose the VLUT2 option.
2 Right-click the VLUT 2 button, then choose Load Viewer Lookup Controls into
Parameters2 Tab from the shortcut menu.
