The SUMMIT can receive these signals via:
• HART
• Analog (4-20mA)
• PRT/RTD
• Serial

A temperature can also be read serially via a modbus link. Normally this wil be the modbus
slave link for instance from a SCADA system. See volume 3 for details how to configure a mod-
bus slave.
