6 .8 .7 TAB calculated (liquid only)
If selected, the pressure and temperature at the density point must be specified in the TAB
“calculated”. The SUMMIT 8800 uses the Klosek-McKinley equation to calculate density for LPG
or LNG.

This section requires the user to enter the molecular weight source. Three options are available:
Keypad
A fixed value to be entered
ISO 6976:1995
Using the ISO formula
GPA 2172:1996
Using the GPA formula
Furthermore the pressure and temperature at the density point must be specified. Their selec-
tion is almost identical to the stream pressure and temperature selection. Please note that in
this case only 2 pressure and temperature sensors are possible but that also the pressure and
temperature at the meter can be used.
