ʻ¼ J6ʼ Input Setup
(Sd-50/0, Sd-50/8, and Sd-50/40)
The Sd-50/xx has eight optically isolated trigger inputs on the ‘
’ input on its end. These inputs can
be used to trigger either sounds or shows. Binary patterns can be used to select and play up to 255 differ-
ent shows or sounds, or they can be used to mute, half mute, unmute or pause and continue sounds and
shows.
On a Sd-50/8 or Sd-50/40, these inputs are shared with eight of the Show Control outputs. These out-
puts can also be used for controlling up to eight model airplane-style PWM ServoMotors. In almost all
cases when using a Sd-50/8 or Sd-50/4s, you will set all of these inputs for ‘Unused’, and use the ‘
tion ‘Virtual’ Audio Trigger Input
’ for triggering audio.
You can set any of the eight inputs as unused, an independent control, or part of a binary address. To set all the inputs
to any of these modes, just use the ‘All Unused’, ‘All Independent’ or ‘All Binary’ buttons. To set the inputs independently,
‘right’+click on the input you want to configure:
