Defaults for Sd-50/0s, Sd-50/8s and Sd-50/40s
Although almost everything can be adjusted on a Sd-50/xx, almost all applications will be able to use
the ‘default’ settings. There are a number of ways to get a Sd-50/xx to load to the default settings:
a) In the ‘Mp3 Config.exe’ program, you can select the type of player you are using from the ‘player type’
menu at the top of the window. Under the Edit menu, select ‘Reset Everything to defaults’. Save the new
configuration to the Sd/MMC flash card you will be using. When you move this Sd/MMC flash card to the
Sd-50/xx, it will load this configuration.
b) If you have a Sd/MMC flash card inserted in the Sd-50/xx, but that card does not have a Sd-50.cfg file on
it, the Sd-50/xx will create a default audio configuration. These defaults will only affect the .Mp3/.wav
player. The settings for the animation playback can be adjusted from using GilderTerm through the Sd-50/
xx’s serial port. Once you have entered the configuration mode for the Sd-50/xx, you can select the ‘reload
defaults’ command to reload the defaults for the animation playback too. Changes you make in the configu-
ration through the serial port and GilderTerm will ‘stick’ until you change them again, or you insert a card
with a Sd-50.cfg file loaded on it. The Sd-50/xx will load any Sd-50.cfg file as soon as it finds one.
