9) !
eeFlag0
These are the binary ‘flag’ settings from the ‘Mp3 Config.exe’ program. Valid values are from 00h to FFh. You
really shouldn’t muck with these. Following this line are the DMX/MIDI serial port settings. These are controlled by
the bits in eeFlag0. They will show:
bit0)
Rx: DMX-512 reception is enabled.
bit1)
Rx: MIDI reception is enabled.
bit2)
Rx: Net Serial reception is enabled.
bit3)
Rx: IR Mode reception is enabled.
a) !
Play a Sound
This command is available ONLY if SoundFiles have been found on the installed Sd/MMC
flash card.
This prompts you for a SoundFile number to play. It will only let you enter valid sound numbers. Once started,
the sound ‘info’ line will change to reflect the status of the sound file that was just started. If the sound file has been
configured to do a ‘seamless loop’ at the end, the ‘info’ line will report the sound as ‘looping’, instead of the more
usual ‘playing’.
b) !
Stop Sound
This command is available ONLY if SoundFiles have been found on the installed Sd/MMC
flash card.
This stops any sound which is playing immediately. If the sound which is playing is ‘unsteppable’, then using
this command to stop the sound will allow you to then start a new sound playing. Once stopped, the sound ‘info’ line
will change to reflect the status of the sound file.
c) !
eeFlag1
These are the binary ‘flag’ settings from the ‘Mp3 Config.exe’ program. Valid values are from 00h to FFh. You
really shouldn’t muck with these.
d) !
eeFlag2
These are the binary ‘flag’ settings from the ‘Mp3 Config.exe’ program. Valid values are from 00h to FFh. This
byte is currently unused. You really shouldn’t muck with these.
e) !
Stop at End
This command is available ONLY if ShowFiles have been loaded on the Sd-50/8 or Sd-50/
40.
This clears the ‘looping’ flag, so the currently running show (if any) will stop at the end and wait for the next start
command. Do NOT use this command for controlling the Sd-50/8 or Sd-50/40 except during testing. Use the
equivalent Serial Port command instead.
