PlayList Setup
(Sd-50/0, Sd-50/8, and Sd-50/40)
You can create up to eight lists of SoundFiles. Any SoundFile stored on the Sd-50/xx’ Sd/MMC flash
card (shown on the ‘
’ tab) can be added to any list. SoundFiles can appear in the same
PlayList more than once.
The lists can be accessed from the trigger inputs or at the end of any SoundFile. In most cases,
SoundFiles can be selected to play ’round robin’ or randomly from a list.
A typical application would have one input triggering SoundFiles from one list randomly, while another
input triggers the SoundFiles on another list in a ‘round robin’ fashion.
To create a ‘PlayList’:
1) select the list you are editing (using any one of the eight radio buttons).
2) Move the SoundFiles you want in the list to the right column using the ‘move selected tracks to
PlayList’ button.
3) Rearrange the list if needed using the ‘move up’, ‘move down’ and ‘delete’ buttons.
You will note that the same SoundFiles can appear in the same playlist any number of times. This allows you to insert
safety messages, advertisements, or other SoundFiles that you want to play more regularly than the other SoundFiles with-
out actually wasting the capacity of the Sd/MMC flash card by storing multiple copies of the actual SoundFiles.
