cleared from non-volatile memory. Upon successful completion of the deactivation, the
serial number will be displayed.
3. Replace the SCP board.
4. IML into DIAGNOSTICS mode. There will be no serial number on the new board.
5. Enter the machine’s serial number into the new SCP’s non-volatile memory.
6. IML with default configuration.
7. From the Field Support Menu in Test Mode, select Activate All Features. The diskette
will be read. If the serial number previously entered matches the serial number on the
diskette, all feature flags will be restored to non-volatile memory. The information on
the diskette will then be deleted.
It is important to follow this procedure carefully. LINCS will not restore the features without
a valid serial number.
