Operating Instructions
In order to read and erase DTCs, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the ignition switch off
2. Connect the Memo Scanner to the 16-pin Data Link Connector (DTC)
3. Wait for the start up display to appear (see Figure 4-15)

4. Turn the ignition switch on. The Memo Scanner attempts to detect the current vehicle
protocol (see Figure 4-16)

5. Select the Trouble codes option from the menu (see Figure 4-17) and press ENTER. The
Memo Scanner retrieves the DTCs stored in the vehicle's computer modules
