Ways of interpreting the start signal:
Level
Labels of a certain print job are printed based on the signal level. Using a foot
switch, labels are printed when a foot is applied to the switch.
Edge
The rising / falling signal edge triggers the printing of exactly one label
(Default setting).

Choose a signal source for the start signal:
Foot switch
Optional foot switch generates the start signal.
Light barrier
(Default setting) Photoelectric switch at the dispensing edge detects the
removal of the dispensed label.

Do not use the Light barrier setting for product sensors! Product sensors
must be connected to an USI!

USI interface (only with installed USI board)

Sets the feeding to the length of the dispensing edge.

In normal operation mode, the rewinder motor (dispenser motor) feeds the
material, while the feed motor runs idle. When using very slim material, add
the power of the feed motor to prevent material rupture (dual motors). To
enable the printer like a non-dispenser, the rewinder motor can be turned off
(printer motor).

Use the Dual Motors mode for the following three conditions:
– Printer is used as dispenser
– Ribbon autoeconomy mode enabled
– Print speed higher than 8 ips (203 mm/s)
