FTP server

The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server (RFC959) allows access to the
printer’s RAM and the Compact Flash card. The FTP server is capable of
multisession mode, without evaluating the user name when logging in. The
password must match the set password (see below).
The FTP server can be used with the following clients:
•
GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0 (OS: Linux)
• WS-FTP Pro 5.0 (OS: Windows NT/95)
• MS-IE 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 (OS: Windows NT/95)
Enabled
Turns on the FTP server.
Disabled
Turns off the FTP server.
FTP password
9864 9854
Set the FTP server password with a connected keyboard or the printer’s
control panel. Default password: avery.
Changing the password:
1. Press Esc. The cursor goes to the first character.
2. Press Cut or Feed until the character you need appears. Press Online to
acknowledge.
3. Enter the next character.
4. Press Online to acknowledge the new password.
